All-Star Team Creates New Indie MMO Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen

Creator of Everquest (Brad McQuaid) along with a crack team of AAA-studio veterans have come together to bring an all new MMO to the indie game scene.  Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen is a fantasy title that targets players wanting bigger, group-focused challenges and a more classic MMO style of play reminiscent of MMO’s past.

I receive emails almost every day asking for this type of game,” said McQuaid, Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen Creative Director. “It’s the kind of game we’ve been wanting to play for so long and we’re finally getting a chance to make it, thanks to major advances in game development technology and crowdfunding.

Despite the teams experience with crafting AAA titles,  they’re doing it on their own dime and need some help. A Kickstarter campaign to fund the project is active until the end of February.  Those looking to return to more hardcore, social-oriented MMO experiences can donate towards their goal of $800,000 in return for in game perks and a copy of the finished game.
