Gamcon, A Seattle Gaming Convention Hits Kickstarter

Here at Indielicious, we really dig  gaming conventions, so when a Kickstarter for one named GAMCON popped up, it naturally caught our attention.

Gamcon is a new Gaming, Anime, & Music convention being Kickstarted by Blake Perdue. Perdue is hoping to bring Seattle, WA its first 2-day gaming convention this July. If successfully backed, GAMCON promises to bring  many activities for attendees to participate in, such as new project demos, new anime productions, competitive events, guest panels, concerts, and more.

Pledging $10 effectively  guarantees a one-day preregistration and an exclusive badge, $20 gets you a pass for both days. Higher tiers reward backers exhibitor and vendor space along with t-shirts and other swag. The convention is non-profit so the organizers won’t pocket any extra funding that goes over the goal. The majority of event costs go towards the venue, located on the Bremerton waterfront. The rest goes to paying guests, rewards, operations, and advertising.
