London based indie developer Tikipod Ltd announced today that its award winning arcade shooter ‘Aqua Kitty – Milk Mine Defender’ will be available for purchase via digital download for PCs on Steam from February 3rd, 2014.

The award winning game, originally developed for the PC, arrives at long last onto Steam via the Greenlight process.  Previous versions on Vita, Xbox and PC have reviewed very well at 8/10 or better.  The game has also picked up awards and nominations from PSNSTORES, TIGA and POCKETGAMER.

Aqua Kitty is a 2D pixel drawn arcade shooter, created with a love of the 16-bit gaming era and late 80s video arcade games.  This newly enhanced Steam PC version features additional New Weapons Systems, a New Arcade Mode campaign (collect gems to purchase powerups), Online Leaderboards, Achievements, Trading cards and numerous extra details and game tweaks.

Initially developed on the PC, the game was initially released as a hit launch title for Sony’s PSMobile (Vita) and then enhanced with Co-op, new levels and enemies for the Xbox release in 2013.  Then released onto onto PC in late 2013 via GOG / Desura and Humble with a new Easy Mode and other refinements, the new Steam version is the best of all with a new Arcade Mode, New Weapons, updated art and sfx, Leaderboards, Achievements and Steam Trading cards.

The full rocking game soundtrack by Electric Cafe is also available for download from Bandcamp, iTunes, and Amazon.
